In search of the most precious stone: trail on the Monte di Portofino, San Fruttuoso, Camogli, with street food lunch.

ATTENTION !!! HARD TRAIL RUNNIGN

Meeting with the guide at 9: 00-9: 30 hrs. In portofino bus stop, or on request in your hotel (price a part)
A beautiful, fairly challenging trail between the woods, olive groves and ancient churches. We start from Portofino, where we begin to climb up to 200 mt above sea level. Following an ancient “creuza” (mule track), we proceed to the inlet that nests the ancient hamlet and the medieval Abbey of San Fruttuoso. After a stop to relax and a swim in the turquoise waters, we set off again to tackle the most challenging part. A particularly steep and exposed path that at times needs the use of chains to be tackled. Past the so called “Golden Cove”, we go up again until we reach the villages of San Rocco and Camogli.
Here we can have another dip into the sea before tasting the excellent local street food, such as: cheese focaccia, savory pies, chick peas “farinata” and other delicacies, together with a nice glass of wine or beer and a delicious organic ice cream.
