Kayak in the paradise gulf and lunch in San Fruttuoso di Camogli (lunch optional)
From Camogli, a fishing village formerly known as the “City of the Thousand White Sailing vassels”, today one of the most caracteristic and romantic bourg of the Italian Riviera.
Gardening just a few paddle strokes to leave behind the be characteristic village with its colorful facades overlooking the sea. We will continue along the coast by placing within the Marine Protected Area of Portofino, through transparent waters changing colors ranging from deep blue to emerald green so clear you can see the bottom.
During the excursion you can observe from the sea the little hamlets such as San Rocco, Mortola and San Nicolò di Capodimonte with his Millennial church, a national monument of inestimable value.
Once arrived at Punta Chiappa, extreme offshoot of conglomerate rock and place of incredible charm, we stop to climb up the rock altar dedicated to Stella Maris and for a dip in the deep waters rich in fish. After a moment of relaxation, we continuremo along the inaccessible area full protection of the Gold cave, where today nest few rare couples of peregrine falcons, while once the infamous pirate Dragut hid the treasures of his incessant raids. Finally we reach the village of San Fruttuoso with its abbey of the XI century, here we have time (facoltative) to visit the abbey a museum dedicated to the history of the place, or we can enjoy to see the copy in the local church of the famous statue of Christ of the Abyss dipped to 12 mt. deep or just relax on the white pebble beach and the emerald sea.
Time for lunch (not included) testing the classic local dishes in a typical restaurant on the sea.
In the afternoon return to Kayak or in either a private boat to Camogli.
